Good grief, that's amazing!. I've got (dead) relations who always had a ciggy behind the ear, in or out of uniform, and while the name Brenda doesn't mean anything to me, my mum died of cancer too!. Brian is a big name in my deceased family!
I'm sure it's nice to know that everything is hunky dory on the other side, but it would be even more interesting it the spirits came back with something really interesting, like where Aunty Doreen stashed her loot.
I had great fun with some kids in a PHSE lesson discussing these things. They'd apparently run a ouija board session, where the spirit of Marilyn Monroe came through to warn them of the end of the world within the year. Scared themselves silly! I told them to mark off the date a year hence and see what happened by then.

thanks tinkerbell...i must say i would do it again...and do you know we are all non-smokers but after he left there was a distinctive smell of cigarete smoke in the conservatory..now im a level headed person but you could definatley smell cigarette smoke..mrmav will go mad he says we should the dead rest in peace..ill let you know what he says...

Sounds like you had a brilliant evening with this medium, glad he told you things that made you think and were relevant to you. I've had similar experiences and it's comforting at times and there's nothing wrong in that IMO. You may find who Brian is at a later date you never know. Thanks for sharing, it's very interesting.

My sister went once and the medium said to her (about my mum), "She liked the gee-gees, didn't she".

Mum loved to watch horse-racing and called the horses the gee-gees. It was quite a coincidence, but tbh I wonder if it was just a lucky coincidence as he will have said other stuff that didn't apply. Part of me would like to go for the experience, and part of me wonders if it would worry me, tbh.

For those that do believe, it must give them much comfort. But this one's a difficult one for me.

I believe Ms M and often go down the "spooky church" [ well its cheaper thn the movies you only have to put something in collection] once a medium told me... there is a old fashioned gentlemen standing here dressed with a winged collar and he is doing something unusual he is painting but not on canvas on scrolls like the chinese do and he says he drowned at sea. I asked my gran and she fainted- her brother George was a sailor, he drowned in the river Dart and he painted scrolls ! I have no explanation and it was before my gran married, also on the day he died her mother in Newcastle said George what are you doing home but no one else saw him, next day they got the news he had died.But he has never appeared again to me nor have I ever had a message from gran or mum.
Just out of curiosity Mrs M how much was his fee for your session ? if you dont mind me asking that is.

Most people of my age would know someone who was in uniform because they were all conscripted into the forces for the war. Also it was a social habit to smoke and many men had the habit of putting a half used ciggie behind the ear. So someone will 'bite' on that one. It would have been easy for him to have found out a few details of your life to bring in. My sister went to a quite famous one (forgotten the name I'm afraid). She told my sister that she would marry and would have a son. She didn't. A bit different from messages from beyond but a similar sort of thing. Personally I think it is impossible and the so called psychics are good psychologists and have done their backgound work. I would really like someone to prove me wrong but I don't think they will.

it was a good night i must say.lol ttfn..dee-sa he charged £20.00 per person..a nice litle earner last night for him..but the girls enjoyed it on the whole..i told mrmav all about it and he just said its all a load of poppycock and is now as we talk walking the dog..miserable so and so lol x
