rover 25 front offside indicator faulty
4 Answers
Recently I have noticed that the front offside indicator light has stopped working on my car. It ticks really fast inside the car, and although the back offside light works it flashes more quickly than usual. The driver side seems fine both front and back, which leads me to believe that something has come loose in the front on that passenger side?
Does anyone know what the problem is and whether its an easy fix. I dont really have any idea on how to fix problems on cars but i'm willing to give it a go if its fairly easy to correct. Dont really want to take it to the garage as they will charge a bomb.
If it sounds familiar to anybody, do you know how much its likely to cost if I did have to take it? Its for a Rover 25.
Thanks

Easy fix, 5 minutes and proberbly a couple of quid for the bulb from halfords.
Basically you dont need to go in the bonnet, the lamp unit needs to be popped out from the front using a screwdriver....and I quote Chapter12 section 6 of the haynes manual
"carefully insert the screwdriver between the INBOARD end of the lens and bumper, so the blade fits behind the retainng spring. Move the screwdriver blade to compress the spring and remove the lamp unit from the bumper. Turn the bulbholder one quarter turn anticlockwise and remove it from the lamp unit. Push and turn the bulb to remove it, replace with a new one"
