X reg Fiesta 1.25 Zetec Cam Belt

I have an X reg Fiesta 1.25 Zetec. The manual says that the cam belt should be replaced after 5 years or 80,000 miles but a few people (including a guy at Ford) have told me it's after 10 years or 100,000 miles but i've been told it's right on the boundary of the change over date. Is the manual incorrect? I'm not sure which one to trust, if it's 5 years it needs replacing now (it's on 52,000 miles). I know there have been a few questions on this subject but i really don't know what to do and need help! Thanks!

Totally agree with mdoo98.. I have an escort zetec, cambelt replacement is 80,000. I changed it at 65,000. Also make sure the garage replaces with a cambelt kit, not just the cambelt.

Thanks, changing it now does sound the safest option.
