Swifts Again!

The Swifts that live in my eves don't seem as numerous, do you think some may have died due to all the rain of late?

We have noticed here that swifts and swallow numbers aren't as in previous years, there is probably an explanation (maybe what you've said) as I guess there's an environmental thing that could explain it....nature has a way of doing things that have a reason although humans can have a hand in it a lot of the time too sadly.
