My question seems to have disappeared from the site. I have done 46 out of 50 questions in a quiz regarding "waters in the UK" and would be happy to exchange any of my 46 answers for the 4 which are outstanding if anyone else is doing this quiz. My 4 outstanding ones are as follows:-
1."Cousins of the Queen" 5/4 Could be River Kent but not happy with that.
2."Gateway to Bill's castle" 4/6
3."Structural member of a vessel" 7/5
4."A poets paradise perhaps" 7/4
Any help would be gratefully received so I can get on with my life!
Thanks Johnalex this is the first time I have done this so all a bit new. Unfortunately no answers so far on either crosswords or Q&P. Looks like another sleepless night!
Thanks for reply Maxy - I have put a note on your other entry to avoid duplication, hope that's OK. Sorry you have had no results yet - for Q2 try LOCH LINNHE which leads to Inverlochy Castle, Fort William. Maybe they call it Bill's Castle? Just possible . . . .
Thanks for all your help johnalex in putting note on my other entry to avoid duplication. Interesting Loch Linnhe. Not 100% happy with it ( a bit like river kent ) but it is the best so far. I hoped I would be inundated with help but so far you are my sole assistant. Thanks again
I tell you what johnalex-having investigated loch linnhe a bit more I just think you might be right. It seems to fit the "bill" ( forgive the pun! ). In fact I am putting it in and will now concentrate on the other 3. Cheers.
