I hope you do not find this question hard to swallow.

What is the largest single object a person has swallowed? I do not mean a sword, as you do not completely swallow that, but something that has stayed down. I suppose this would be in the case of drug mules, as they swallow capsules of drugs the size of plums.
I once swallowed a marble by mistake as a child. Can anyone here beat this record?

I used to work in a residential home for adults with learning disabilities and one resident was known for taking just about anything into his mouth and attempting to swallow it - even his own fist!. He once swallowed half a slice of toast whole - nicked it from someone's plate and made it disappear in a few seconds.
On one occasion he had a bad cough that lingered for days. He was seen by the doctor and sent for an x-ray. Turned out he had a toy aeroplane, about 3" across, lodged in his throat.
