Well, I have an invite to the new Playboy Club.

Should I go?

Best reason to go - it has an all night Casino.

Best reason to not go - I will be jealous of the Bunnies, who will all be much younger, and a bit sexier, than I am.

But would I have to fight through the ranks of protesting women in comfortable shoes? And whose "rights" are these protesters fighting for? Girls who can earn good money just because they look great, and who choose to do so, hardly need anyone to fight their corner.

Surely the only "clothing issue" that is offensive to women's "rights" is at the other end of the dress scale ... the Burkha, or the Niqab.

Instead of protesting outside the Playboy Club, these women should go and protest outside a Mosque (although they would risk being whipped, I suppose).

Then, I can go and have a game of Blackjack without getting verbal abuse as I enter the club.

Thanks, em.

I think I will end up going. If I don't, I'll be burning up with curiosity.

Is there a bit of me that hopes that the bunnies are not TOO perfect?

Mmm ... probably not.

I want them to be fab, and gorgeous, and totally in love with themselves.

If I was perfect enough to be a bunny, I'd want EVERYONE to know about it !!!!!
Enjoy yourself JJ and don't win too much and put the Club out of Business ! ;-))
Well i wasn't really taking notice of the bunnies so much, i was with a friend,
he was the one gambling, but i was fascinated, especially after watching a punter lose a small fortune, i couldn't get my head round it, more money than i could earn in a lifetime, gone in 60 seconds. Have a great time, and don't go overboard on the
gambling, didn't you win on the geegees recently.?

em ... by a total fluke ... yes, I (we!) did.

At Ascot last week.

There were eight of us. On each race we did "twenties in" and put it on a horse ... mostly on stokemaveric's tips.

In one race, there was a horse called Pisco Sour, which is the name of a rather scrummy cocktail ... so our £160 went on Pisco Sour ...

... and it won at 20/1.

So, we went back to the little trackside bookie man ... and collected £3,200 ...

... which was jolly.
is it a freebie except for the gambling ? I used to go in London many moons ago, we always went late night because you got free drinks and all the meals were subsidised in the hope you would stay and gamble, we didnt !
The best "bunny" story I know to be true - at that time we used to go to an East End pub where the landlady at a drop of a hat would don a bunny costume and serve behind the bar, they had a fire in their living quarters and the landlady was inconsolable- had they lost the weeks takings or something - no the Bunny costume was ruined !
Question Author
Oh, fab, Dee Sa ... I love it, LOL.

Will it be a freebie?

I expect so.

Most of the time when I go out in London, it's on business, and I end up paying for everyone, so it will make a change to be taken out.

And ... more money left for the Roulette table ... Yay !
that was jolly on the bolly, yes i do remember...
Question Author
It sure was, em.

It's very jolly when you drink fizz all day, and you end up with more left in the Fizz Kitty than we put in to start with ... so it was all for free.

=0)

If only they would close down the Bollinger Bar, and replace it with a Veuve Clitty Bar, it would've been perfect.
