A divine mis-deeder with a memory like an elephant....that's me

"To err is human, to forgive divine". I used this expression on here yesterday(!) Now, I do err an awful lot, try to forgive, but never EVER forget. But, thru it all I do try to remain divine ;-)
What about you lot - do you make a lot of errors or do you err on the side of caution? Do you forgive & forget easily?
(btw, this is not a pointed or provocative question aimed at anyone in particular. But I must point out to any concerned parties that I am on a library computer, not my work one ....)

I'm naturally cautious. I find it all very negative to harbour a grudge against anyone and I'm fundamentally lazy so if you've upset me to the point where I know I won't forgive you then I tend to just write you out of my life and have nothing to do with you, without wishing you particularly ill or good. I just find it very hard to get myself worked up I think.

I try not to make mistakes but being human I can't help it ;-) But I do forgive those who make mistakes but not if done deliberately against my family, that's harder to take. Forget? Hmm that again depends on the severity of the problem but all in all I do prefer to let things blow over and not bear a grudge.
