The AB team seem to have opted for a "title" font style.

It's bolder, and more eye catching ... but it's hard to read in a block of text.

I predict we will gradually start spending less time on AB because it tires our eyes.

IKEA dropped Futura in favour of Verdana, for their store name, because they thought Verdana was more striking.
