Since it has become obvious that the age when one receives a state pension is to rise so as to contend with ever-increasing longevity.

The state pension age for women will go up from 60 to 65 in 2018, then the pension age will then rise to 66 for both men and women in 2020, eventually reaching 68 in the years ahead.

So why are the Women complaining, it's all in the name of equality.

I have to respond. The majority of women are not complaining. And as a woman, I agree it should be equal. I am 57yrs old now, and have worked all my life since I left school at age 15. When the increase of womens state pension age to be increased was first announced, it was said to be brought in gradually and the process to be completed by the year 2020. Last year, aged 56, I received a letter from DWP stating that I would not receive my state pension (nor, bus pass, heating allowance and other concessions) until I was 3 mths short of my 64th birthday. I feel there is nothing gradual about that. And now they are proposing another age increase on top of that one. Can I also state that I have previously worked in the private sector, and could never afford to opt-in to the company pension scheme.
