Where can I find this comedy sketch?
8 Answers
The other day I heard a comic monologue written by Keith Waterhouse called, I think, "The Shepherd's Warning". It tells how the nativity shepherds were stopped by a policeman on the way To Jerusalem.
I have searched the internet and can find no trace of it. Anyone have any ideas?

ther'e no mention of it being a 'sketch' in his wikipedia page. but there is a note in his orbituary:
He was against bureaucracy, especially the bureaucracy of petty officialdom: he wrote a memorable column one Christmas Eve, viewing the Nativity through the eyes of three wise social workers appalled by conditions in the holy manger and determined to take the new-born infant into care.
could that be it?
