Can anyone tell me quickly how to do reverse percentages as my memory is failing me here. For example, I know that 21 is 16% of the original number but need to calculate the original number.

Cheers.

21/16*100

Divide 21 by 16 and multiply the result by 100.

Fab, thanks all!
In full ...

n times 16% is 21
Therefore n is 21 divided by 16%

16% is 16/100

Therefore n is 21/(16/100)
Therefore n is (21*100)/16
