my hair is very fair naturally, but greying lots now especially at the front, have coloured it for years now, when we had the very hot weather a few weeks ago it became very light, today I put a light ash colour on it, as it looked a bit yellow to me, it turned out ash/blue!.....not happy!...............what can I do?..........got a party at the weekend!......can't go there with my hair looking slightly blue!.....help please!..........

Perhaps you could try a semi permanent colour then if it's not what you want it will wash out. But if you find you like it you could get the permanent version. You need to replace the red thats been toned down too much by the ash, so you need to look for a colour that has red tones but that doesn't mean you have to go ginger. There are a lot of 'warm' blonde shades.
I know you can get colour strippers, but I don't know how efficient they are of how damaging they might be to your hair.
