Iceland: the 'slag' of all supermarkets?

It seems they've got no regard for nutrition as the 90% of all stock is frozen junkfood and the stores I've hardly contain fruit'n'veg.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It's not all frozen junk food - I go to the greengrocers for my fruit and veg, and go to Iceland for frozen fish, minced beef, chicken breast, turkey breasts/ joints and pork joints. It probably would be better for to go to a butcher, but I can't always afford that.
Iceland is handy for frozen stuff, for cereals, bread, milk, al-kee-hol offers, stuff for my lunch during the week.
They do try! A while ago they introduced ONLY organic vegetables in their own frozen ones, and were the first place to intorduce frozen vegetable chips- ie, chips made out of carrots and courgettes and stuff, shaped to look like crinkle cut chips, but orange and green and things!! Trying to get kids to eat more veg is a good start!!
