can anyone recall a tall round/flat faced dark haired (his hair was usually swept back) actor who used to play thug type roles on British telly in the 70s and 80s? His face was of the kind that fitted well under a bank robber's stocking, and usually did

Anthony Valentine was in drama then he didn't play gangsters though. He did Colditz and then something like the power game but not that one. Was it The Brothers? there's a scottish actor with a sly look tht alwys played bad guys. I thought his name was dudley
