What say over 65ers or younger ABers. ?

I feel I must have a little whine, before drinking a 'few' glasses of red wine.
It seems to be that there is a movement afoot to have me sitting at home of an evening with just a small glass of plonk and perhaps consume it by dipping a baby's dummy; instead of enjoying my cigarettes whilst quaffing wine.

I have seen a few in my time, and believe me its they who should be having treatment, on the channel 4 news with Jon Snow earlier he had one of the psychiatrists involved in this report and the other was a doctor, who was a lovely old chap, with a sharp sense of humour, he suggested that if you can't have drink at that age, when its all falling to pieces, when can you, not exact words, but i thought he was wonderful. The poe faced chap just receded somewhat into the background.
You all know that I am way past 65 and often slip into the columns of AB one of my 'poetical' compositions. The following being about my thinking whilst drinking.
............................
I think I thought that I had thought that I would think.
And then thought, I'll first buy myself a drink.
Well having bought the drink that I had sought,
I sort of thought about the thought I'd thought;
Then thought, there was ought but nought about the thought I'd thought. Or so I thought I think.
So I bought another drink, which led me on to think,
That I could no longer think, because I was getting drunk.
Or so I thunk; I think!!
