14 Answers
Mine is just now, in windows media player.
After playing some tunes on my 300w speakers (I have around 50gb of music btw if not 60gb!), Windows pops up with this message:-
"Too many files, will stop playing now"
Hahahahaha, made me laugh my ass off! Looks like windows doesn't like my NRG collection! Made my day, anyways, whats the funniest errors you've seen to date?

We had some problems with updating some entries into a new database at a place I used to work with the wrong thing being put in the wrong box. Until the techies could redesign that bit and as a temporary measure to get my point across, I put some dialogue boxes on which used to drive the staff mad which went something like:-
Are you sure you want to do this - Y/N
Are you really sure that this information shouldn't be in the *** box - Y/N
Are you so sure that this is right you would stake your first born on it? Y/N
Are you so positive this is right that BM is not going to scream at you for four days and huff and puff round the office - Y/N.
The boss was the worse one for cocking it up so I had an extra one that said "John, if you are reading this, click "no" and do not touch BM's database again. Now put your feet up and someone will make you a nice cup of coffee".

I used to work for a company that wrote software programs. During the testing stage the program kept failing in an area it should not go into and we could not understand why.
So the developer wrote some code which displayed a window which said "This should never happen" and it displayed some "help" information (to help him solve the problem).
Of course, we forgot to take out this window, and a few months after the product shipped we got a call from a customer who said they had recieved this error window which said "This should never happen".
They were not too pleased.
