Who's got some, who hasn't, people whinging about how unfair the system is

Lots of people got tickets, lots didn't, lets move on now instead of interviewing folk from either camp

In all honesty, Joeluke, I actually haven't heard or read anything about the Olympic tickets. I don't know anyone who's got them... but then I don't think I know anyone who applied for them.
But yeah, I would probably get irritated if I heard people whinging about it. If you haven't got them, you haven't got them. No point in moaning about it.

nope, we didn't apply, thinking of vacating if we can, the capital is going to be a nightmare to navigate round, and its already a nightmare, so perhaps time to fly the nest.

Personally I'm all set for hearing about Olympic tickets for another whole year yet!

I didn't apply for any, but I think the way the allocation of tickets was a shambles. But if you are sick of reading about it joe why the hell did you start a thread about it?

what a pigs ear they have made over these tickets, I didnt bother apply, still think it would have been better if France had got the venue instead of us and u could have just gone by Eurostar to watch, think how much money the country could have saved and we could have given it away as foreign aid ha!ha! Greece still hasnt been able to pay back the money it borrowed for their Olympic stint.

Thats because Greece was bankrupt before, only they didn't tell anyone, very clever. No not going to Olympics, unless win tickets in a raffle, or a holiday, then won't have to worry about the millions of extra souls here, trying to get to the Olympic park, jamming the roads, rail, bus, pubs, restaurants, someone reckoned that it will be five pound for a pint of beer, well if our local does, then won't be going back
