Passport photos for US visa

My Nephew needs passport photos for his US visa and they need to be 2 x 2. Does anyone know where to get these as the ones in booths are all 2 x1 according to him. Thanks.

many local photographers do passport photos and should be able to help.

in most booths in supermarkets etc you can choose the size of the photo

he does defiitely need a visa, does he, and not just an online Esta form?

The visa photo size is a bit of a pain. You can take it yourself and go through picturelizard.co.uk They will resize it and do it to US visa requirements. Jessops do a similar service as well.

thanks for all your help . We have found somewhere to do them for him. £25 for 8 a bit steep i think but he has to have them.

if you can take photo on camera take memory card into boots and they do 8 photos for about 40p

Personally I wouldn't chance doing my own photo. However, £25 for 8 is excessive. My local PO charges £6 for 4 and a shop in town charges £5 for 4 - shop around if you can

You didn't answer jno though, does he actually need a visa? Can he not just fill out the on line ESTA? This takes around 72 hours and no pic required
