Picnic on the beach with family and friends, swim in the sea (it was surprisingly warm), back home for a quick bbq, now its time for baths, hairwash, polish school shoes cuppa tea and bed!
Quite a lot of pottering around in the back yard for me hanging up various washed items to dry in the sun, also hung my new hanging basket which looks very pretty and some new curtains in the living room. Am slightly pink from sitting outside reading, and am now (as always) looking forward to dinner. It's been a lovely sunday.
Went to the beach (but tide came in too early for us and took away the beach). Gate crashed a holiday park and the kids played in their (surprisingly good) water play area thing. Now trying to get the youngest two to sleep as they fell asleep in the flipping car!
most of weekend spent gardening for ex...nearly finished....also gave her bedroom a mini makeover as a housewarming present... since I got home..hung new blackout linings with bedroom curtains, long soak in the bath and finished the crosswords... the ironing can wait until tomorrow...
lol giveup, I did that and I kept raiding the charity bag.
I have had a very quiet day, read the papers, had breakfast and a snack lunch, and made dinner for 4pm. It has been very warm here so I spent much of the day in the garden. Now I'm trying to find some elusive relatives for the family tree. Having a break from them atm.
Drove down to the old homeplace...after years away..saw old friends..relatives..had a wonderful day and now I am crawling up the stairs after this cuppa to sleep.....per chance to dream as they say...nite nite everyone.
Noraq - it was Marmaris which is a very lively town. Fortunately our hotel which was excellent was situated in the quiet end of the town. It was very warm - 43 degrees (38 shade) at the end of our stay so be careful not to burn! I was impressed at how clean everything was - no litter and the sea water was so clear. We encountered courtesy and good manners wherever we went.
Well I had a lovely day. Took my mum and dad to a private museum of vintage tractors, steam engines and rural memorabilia and curios. My step son was a bit bored, but mum and dad loved it.
been out to meet friends, couldn't believe how hot it was!.......went home early!..........was too hot on the seafront, even with the sea breeze!..still hot now!............
