Anyone have an allergy to COLOPHONY/ABITOL

Ive just had a patch test done to find out why my eyes were flaring up (intermittently) all puffy, red and sore. They have advised I am allergic to the above stuff which is found in quiet a few things - trying to narrow it down is harder than I thought. I was told it wasnt anything to do with my makeup but yesterday it got so unbearable that Ive lathered myself in some cooling eye gel (containing Vit A) to relieve the itch and redness.

Has anyone else got a similar problem (female wise preferrably) and have you change your makeup./mascara to anything that doesnt flare up your eyes!??

Try L'oreal Telescopic mascara ( all over gold colour tube) .. it's a hypo allergenic mascara .. got mine in Boots chemist!
