Direct Line adverts
Does anyone hate these patronising adverts as much as I do?

I think their ads say a lot about what direct line think of their customers/prospective customers. The worst for me is the one where they tell us they aren't 'chicken' for not being on price comparison sites as they'd rather deal with us face to face...never actually explaining why.
I think the main problem is that they seem to suggest that we should just swallow anything they say. Well, wouldn't it be lovely if did Direct Line? Wouldn't it be just smashing if we lost all individuality? Never questioned you? Never stepped out of line? Never made your jobs anymore problematic than they needed to be? HUH, WOULDN'T IT?!!!
Problem is we have to ask questions these days as we all know of an insurance company or two who will be more than happy to diddle us given half a chance. I'm sure Direct line is no different. Rant over.
