Has anyone had both Yuko & Xtenso hair straightening done to their hair? Was Yuko really worth the 250 high cost? How long did it last? Did it damage your hair? How long did your Xtenso last? I have wavy hair, had Xtenso done abroad 1.5 years ago, and have not bleached my hair ever. I want to have my hair straightened again but I am not sure which one to go for. I would love to hear your experiences. Thx.

I've had both and Ionic as well. The Yuko treatment cost me 400 and the xtenso was 60. the Yuko lasted until re-growth and the xtenso was crap. It didn't damage my hair.

I would try the Ionic if I were you. It takes less time than Yuko.
I have had the yuko system twice. Fantastic! My hair is wavy, long and can be frizzy in damp conditions. After treatment my hair was silky, smooth and only needed the hairdryer to dry it, not style it.
I had a wella straightening treatment (wellastrate) which was crap! It left my hair dry and I still had to fight with the brush and dryer to straighten it!
Yuko every time - damn expensive at 400 though!!
Le Chat, you should try the Ionic treatment. It costs less than Yuko at 250 - 300. And it take less time than the Yuko as well.
I ahve just been checking that out after reading your post Tigger! Amazingly, the first salon that appeared after Googling is quite near to my home, so I'll give it a go! Thanks for that. x
Great! Are you due for treatment Le Chat?

Let me know how you get on and the same to you Rubydv. I would like to know what you both think of it.

Good luck xxx

I had Yuko done by Fiz 3 times now in Acton w3, I am very happy with the results.
Fiz takes care of the hair and adapts the treatment to sensitive hair in the same time advising about treatments that won't damage your hair.
Also one strong pint is that she is very flexible with timing, I work crazy hours and she still found some time in the evening quite late to do a professional job to my hair.
Another strong point is that she is always looking to improve the treatments and solutions, to adapt to a particular type of hair and to be aware of the new things that are on the market.
I would highly recommend her!!! I’ll definitely continue with her for my hair, nothing to complain, only good things!!!!
Keep it going Fiz and thank you very much again!
