Vax carpet cleaner.

We have borrowed one from a friend. It says to use geniuine Vax carpet cleaner in it but he says any will do. Never used one before so unsure. Does it have to be Vax?

Just use a good quality non-foamy alternative.

...but DO make sure that it IS a non-foamy one. It will be designed to be used in a machine rather than manually- otherwise you will get lost in the foam!

i use 1001 3 in 1 carpet cleaner for machines bit only put half the amount in as gingejbee say you'll get lost in the foam other wise
