we didn't get to go home today as planned, Mercia is still in hospital, and i'm afraid to say it looks like she'll be in for a while, she's very poorly. The knee she had the operation on (she had a pin put in) keeps on swelling up and she got a deep tissue infection. It's proving hard to heal as she can't take penicillin.

Please tell Mercia I wish her a speedy recovery. Been through a lot of knee problems myself and now have two knee replacements. So, I know well how painful troublesome knees can be and really feel for her. I can't take penicillin either, so they usually give me erythromycin, which works very well. Fingers crossed things will get better for her very soon. Hugs to her.
