Shows in London

Not being at all familiar with theatre land, can any of you recommend a show suitable for my 7 year old grand-daughter please. I know I can google and probably will, but I was hoping somebody had first hand knowledge. Thanks in advance.

Gary Warren - wasn't he also the kid in Catweazle Dotty? Sweet face.
The show at Waterloo Station was devised by York Theatre Royal and played at their Railway Museum. It transfered to London a year or so ago and is such a perfect fit for the disused tracks there. Very nostalgic for those of us who remember it first time round and a great show for kids too.

those who have been to see The railway children, i understand its a good show, how did you book tickerts, from Waterloo station, on line or ticket agents, as had a look at the prices, and am a bit confused, says Platform 1, 2 and same again but cheaper prices, top tickets are expensive, especially for a family.
Hi em
I phoned to booked (phone number on adverts). Yes its a bit expensive but you'll be absolutely fine in the cheaper seats.
Imagine a railway platform with seats the length of it facing the track. There are only 8- 10 or so rows so nothing very high up like there is in a theatre. You can see from everywhere and it makes no difference at all which platform you sit on.
