There was this book, I always used to take out from my local library, about 20 years ago, when I was learning to read. I seem to remember that it was about a red squirrel taking some nuts to a dinner party with some other animal chums, but he had some minor difficulties getting there. I'm pretty sure it was called the First Day of Spring, but I can't find any information about it anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this book??
