I wonder how others feel about having the most recent posts in a thread starting on page one with the older posts on the end page (if you know what I mean?). It's just my opinion that when one looks into a thread it's rather a drag to have to delve back into the pages to find the latest answers.
It might make sense within Chatterbank but it seems illogical within the 'serious' parts of AB (which, after all, are the real reason that the site exists anyway).
Yes CF I did, it's just on the thread itself, ifthe last answers posted were at the beginning of the thread it would be easier to keep up with the theme of answers rather than going to the last page and scrolling down (IMO),
No it wouldn't, it would be a nightmare.
You don't need to go to the last page and scroll down, just click on the bit Chuck has highlighted.
If I am reading a thread for the first time I don't want to read it from the last page.
Trim, I've lost count of the amount of times pictures have been posted on the internet that include a close icon or cancel button and I've clicked on the button on the picture to close it !
I think for me it's because I go into a thread mostly from the latest post list on the r h side which then takes one into page one and not the latest postings on that thread.
