need a child's tudor costume for monday!

any ideas???
I would like to make her a hat with those two cone shaped ears and drapey chiffon but don't know where to start!

The hennin or pointed headdress does not have to be two cones - it can be only one. Wind a triangle of card into a cone and glue it . Trim it to fit the chiild's head. Cover it with fabric and maybe edge it with braid. Glue the edge of a square of chiffon along the seam in the card and leave the rest of it to float free.
Search the web for pictures of women in hennins.
Actually by far the simplest way to dress her - mediaevally speaking - would be as a benedictine nun. They had huge veils on the heads and you only need black and white fabtric.

thank you both. I went to a fair bit of trouble and she looked great.
But then the teacher awarded the prize to a girl in a SHOP BOUGHT costume!
Unbelievable!
