Microsoft Office Word

My computer crashed and now I can't get office word, the icon is still on the screen but nothing happens when I click on it. Anyone got the answer?

What happens if you select start > run and then type winword into the run box and press enter?

Can't find run!!

If it's XP then it will say run, if it's vista or windows7 it is the box at the very bottom of the start menu, in windows7 it say search for programs and files. (not sure about vista, don't use it)

Remember seeing 'run' before today it used to be at the bottom of the list but no sign now.

Press the windows key and while keeping it pressed press the r key and the run box will appear.

But as implied, when asking about computers stating at the very least which version of windows you are running enables people to give better answers.

... and while we are at it "My computer crashed" is kinda of a vague statement as well.
