Lost possessions

I lost my purse today, on my way to do some shopping :( Apart from the small amount of cash I carry all sorts of tat, top up cards, Loyalty cards, Bank cards, so now got to go to all the bother of cancellation and renewing all these blooming things. Do you carry all and sundry in yours ?

That's awful. I thought I'd lost mine the other day and I was gutted, as like you, I carry everything in my purse. I shouldn't really, but I feel like I need it all.

Could someone have handed it in maybe?

Hmm, both my bank cards, drivers license, n I number card and other random stuff! Thing I would definitely miss most are my 2 face pics of my fiancé because I'm sad and carry them round with me to look at them.... And the credit card sized card with a poem about how much he loves me on :-)

Commiserations flump1 , it happened to me on Mon and it was 24hours before I realised it.I cant describe the panic it was awful.
We have M&S cardsafe and they did it all for me, and in the end I managed to speak to someone at DVLA and paid £20 over the phone and they are doing the licence bit for me.Tons of loyalty cards too havent got round to that bit yet.Luckily no money has been taken from my debit card, trouble is I have no money and cant get any till new cards arrive so have to ask Mr S for his card.
Yesterday was like an aftershock and I felt all wobbly all day, hope this doesnt happen to you.

I left my bag in a taxi in a city in China with over 6 million population. I had just arrived, jet lagged, taken to hotel ('You need to rest; we'll see you in 10 minutes') then to restaurant, and suddenly realised my bag with passport, cash, cards was missing. Strangely, maybe due to the jet lag, I was completely cool about it.
I got it back intact.
