Has everyone else got two rather unsatisfyingly shaped holes?

No, I have five holes. All of them are of well known products. If I remember correctly two are on the left hand side and three on the right.

Yes I have five, but what I was asking was 'are two of them not square/rectangular?'. Red herring territory otherwise, and I will have to keep looking!

I agree, but they have five letters each in their names, but only the others make satisfyingly square/round holes.

Thanks! Now, if I were setting that puzzle I would have found examples with even numbers of letters only. Easy for me to say probably...!

Given that they're not all nice shapes, one of mine (D???Y) can appear in 3 ways if you include a cross and '7' shape! Spoils an otherwise nice crossword. I've chosen the shape that duplicates another 5-letter item.

Can I ask a favour? Could people put the number of the Inquisitor in their titles please? I was puzzling over the same funny shaped holes and only looked for "Inquisitor 1184". Then I came across this comforting thread by accident! I did the same as you Stymied so I feel better now.
