Puppys first teeth

I have a Chihuahua bitch puppy. I was told by the people that she is 10weeks old, She had all her baby teeth, Is this right? What age do pups get their first teeth normally.

Usually, about 8 weeks for the "milk" teeth... the permanent teeth come in about 14 to 20 weeks.

As Clanad said, they are generally 4months ish old when they get their bigger no longer fun when playing teeth!

Yes, quite right, they get their adult teeth by 4-6 months on the norm, and they come in loose, that's why dogs chew alot, they have to come in loose because even tho they get their adult teeth they are not full grown yet, the jaw still has some adjusting to do, so as they chew it helps, solidfy the position and locks them into their rightful position, They were doing a study at one of the universities, Illinois, I do believe, that said that if dogs do not chew at this stage it sets them up for teeth problems down the road.

If you have a rope or something ( some use dishrags, but you'll have to keep all other towels up and away they usually won't be able to tell their chew towel from an other) it helps to soak it in water and freeze it and it's like a big teething ring, ice is always good also, or you can make chicken cicles by freezing some low fat low sodium chicken broth, diluted in water.
