Has anyone got any advise about the workers guild?

My husband is working self employed for a firm through an agency. The agency told him to sign up to an umbrella company (The Guild), he has done as they said this is how he will be paid. They also pay his tax for him and liability insurance; i think, but all this is for a weekly fee.

can anyone tell us what we are actually paying for?
been on their website and it doesn't provide alot of info....

Would really appreciate any advice especially from anyone who is using The Guild.
