Reasons to own an AGA.

(1) You want to give the impression that you own a house in the countryside.

(2) You actually DO own a house in the countryside.

Reason NOT to own an AGA.

(1) Because you can't cook on them.

(2) Well ... loads of reasons, really.

I like to be surrounded by buzz.

My last house was a big "rattling around inside" sort of house, where you couldn't see the houses next door, and I didn't like it.

I moved to a flat near the town centre, where I can see the sea, and hear the sound of the town, and I love it here.

Maybe I'm a bit insecure.

jj I used to have a bedsitter right opp the Royal Pavillion in the mid 60's. Lovely view. Last time I went there the block was terribly posh now!

Yes it's Pavilion Parade, only I had one of the rooms without a balcony and only had the side entrance, happy days!
