my poor little retro baby failed her mot and has go to have things done to her to make her better. it's a bit of a difficult dilemma as the cost of the repairs is almost as much as her monetry worth. big ouch.
B...er the expense. Give the cat another goldfish. Go for it, my lady, life`s too short and your beneficiaries aren`t going to say "we would have had more if she hadn`t spent that money on a useless old wreck" (well, they might, but you won`t be around to hear them)
Sorry to read that lj. I am a little tired - read that as metro baby and was going to advise you get the evening paper. Knowing when to call it a day on spending money on our cars is almost as old as the chicken/egg egg/chicken Q. Sleep on it and think afresh tomorrow ☺
Yes, we are all with you on this one. Keep the car you have, and bu**er the expense. I know people who have had cars for their whole lives, and they have spent more on them than the car is worth. There are no pockets in shrouds, and people can not thank you after death.
I would get her fixed up, as it is better the devil you know, as one ABers says here.
ca\rmalee - glad your car passed mot. now i'm just envious.
