how do i use jpeg picture files in microsoft access instead of gifs, bmp's etc.

What version of Access 2, 95, 97, 2000, 2002?

it will be for use with boths access forms and on the web. i need there to be a field just like the text fields but for it to store jpeg pics. the reason it must be jpeg's is so it reduces the size and also as asll the pics are currently stored as jpegs. i am using access 2000. i would be using the OLE object option as the data type i believe. i actually know how to link pics in general its just that my version of access doesn't seem to view jpegs. i understand that there is some kind of addin or interpreter which assists with this. cheers for any help.
