Looking for a place where my grandfather live and have tried googling it, no luck.
Looking for Sun Cottages, St Marylebone, North Marylebone. Any ideas as to where this could be? would have been around 1918 so probably now has a completely different address. my mother would love t visit the location.

It appears they were situated in the vicinity of Edgware Rd station.
Sun Cottages is listed in the census sub-district of Christchurch, part of St Barnabas Ecclesiastical District, the boundaries being:
North - Bell St.
East - Lisson St
South - Marylebone Rd
West - Edgware Rd

...and is described as nearby Lisson St...

(It may be a coincidence but there was a pub named The Sun at 57 & 59 Lisson St)
Here is a map of that area...

I found a reference here - http://booth.lse.ac.u...ue_notebook&args=b358 "Sun Cottages" is listed with Providence Place, Harmon Street and Union Street, but these are not near together, so don't help locate Sun Cottages.
Thanks so much for all your info my mother is over the moon with all the findings now wants to find out more about her grandparents past. ABerrant couldnt have asked for more fantastic what you have found. anyone who can uncover any more would be more than welcome in the meantime i have e-mailed the last finding in the hope she has not changed her e-mail address. thankyou all so much. x
Building on Dotty's info I have had a play around with http://www.old-maps.co.uk and the cluster of buildings between Burne St and Providence Place can be seen on maps after about 1860. If you look at the google map, you can find Bell St, Burne St and Lisson St off the A40 in Paddington. The properties you're looking for stood inbetween these streets - I'd post an image from Old Maps if it weren't in breach of their terms n conditions, so you'll have to have a search for yourself!
This is the building (57/59 Lisson Street) formerly known as The Sun Public House...

Sun Cottages were situated on ground at the rear of the pub. Access was via a passageway along the right hand side of the building and the passage entrance still exists behind the metal gate to the right of the grey door.
