Hi,
this is not something I am proud of. I recently drove my car under the influence of cannabis and got caught via being pulled over bloood test. The charge sheet states thst the vehicle registration incorrectly whereby one of the digits is wrong. Does this affect the charge against me, and can it be used as a loophole in the charge? Any advice or information would be warmly received, Thanks in advance to the good folks here
Sorry, just re-read that, you will still get done, its a simple ad-min error and as long as the vehicle matches and the reg is one digit out they will realise this. Dave.
I don't think it will get you off the hook as When you got pulled over They would of got your name and address from you and Will see that that Reg is in another name and not yours and then check to see what vehical is registered in your name as see where they have made the mistake.
Nope, you will get done for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and having the registration incorrect, you should know what your vehicles registration plate should read.

Thanks all, the charge reads ' drove a mechanical propelled vehicle, namely a Honda Civic index P111AAA (eg incorect) on a road namely "X" whilst unfit to drive through drugs - I didnt drive a vehicle with that index so surely the charge is incorrect? Again thanks
the vehicle details are irrelevant, as the crime is being stoned and driving... not to do with the car itself, such as parking etc
they KNOW you are guilty so there is no doubt of the charge
you do not get away with criminal offences because of minor things like this...
