I am in the process of setting up my own graphic design business, and money is , how can I say.....precious! I like looking stylish and trendy without looking overdone or tarty. My wardrobe is in need of a major makeover!! I am 21 and live not far from London, otherwise shop in paces like Topshop, H&M, River Island, Faith, Jane Norman etc etc What are the best high street shops to shop in for wicked clothes?

Yes I agree with Tartanwizard. Charity shops can be a great source of cheap clothing ...
You could also try shopping on ebay
Yep! I also am a graphic designer, and everything I buy is from charity shops! This method ensures that no-one else is wearing what you are....I don't know about you but I find that everyone these days looks like they've walked out of a New Look window display. ;-)
So if I see anybody wearing stylish clothes from a charity shop, can I assume s/he is a graphic designer?!
You could always buy basics from a cheapie shop and customise them
