Can I just butt in - Boxie, any news of Rover?
No wolf, sadly not, two months now, we are hoping against hope that he's attached himself to another household with cats, as he did when he came to us. We really thought he would have come to light by now...

cheers for replying to DC - we will have to see what happens next - do you have an inkling for keeping chickens?
No, I herd cats.
Question Author
oh yours?
Well - yes, the two I have, and the one which got away...
There's a little white cat with a couple of markings on his tail and head comes in and out of the garden. Looks very scraggy and half starved. I put scraps out for him and water but he (or she) does not want to be friendly. He eats the scraps and drinks the water, so I suppose that's good but he runs away when I go out to try and make friends.
