Grout or Glue???

I am about to put a white plastic trim around my bath,not that flexible tape one can get..and am not sure whether to grout it on or Unibond adhesive.
Which is best?

Why not silicone seal the joint like everyone else? it looks better and won't come unstuck like the plastic trim does.

Kloof - What type of trim is it you are trying to fit?

If you don't want to do a silicone joint, Kloof........... then bed the trim on with a couple of beads of silicone.

A little tip
Either way you go, 3/4 fill the bath with water then fit the plastic strip/seal and wait until set.
The weight of water will settle bath down and stop annoying gaps appearing later

Hi all,thanx for advise.
At present have white sillicone round the bath which is coming off and looks awful.Oiginally there was a ceramic trims same width as the tiles which I thought looked lovely.Then I had to have a new bath and the plummer put the sillicone and as it looked OK...then...I just left it at that.
A friend suggested this trim I now wish to put as he had used it at some point...but am now unable to get in touch with him to ask how it was fixed
Hence my asking your advise.
Chuckfickens ,it is not the flexible plastic trim you are speaking off..I don`t like that neither,this is from a D.I.Y shop,will not advertise the name..don`t know if it is allowed on this site...it is a rod with a flat side 1.2cm in width comes in 182 cm in length ..has to becut to size...obviously!!

Think I know what you mean. Would go with The builders advice and use silicon to attach. If current silicon is not leaking and you are fitting trim for decorative purposes, no need to replace what you already have.
No problem with providing link of product on suppliers site. Only considered advertising if it's your own products / services.
