Please can you tell me if a person can drive a company vehicle if they are not on the companys books ,for example working cash in hand? Many thanks.

it will depend on the policy entirely.

It depends on the conditions of the policy... if the policy allows any person authorised by the company to drive the company vehicle, then yes.

usually a company policy will say drivers should be employees of the company. Someone paid cash in hand and not on books is not an employee so unless their name is on on the policy they will not be insured.
