Chalky, creamy-buttery emulsion
Can anyone recommend a paint that that would go well with a pale green carpet - it's for a large east-facing bedroom? I want to avoid anything with a yellow tinge.

I went to B&Q to look for tester pots; all I can say is that the staff there have developed the skill of avoiding eye contact and no, I couldn't find a tester pot for Gallery Grey. I used my skills of intrigue and detection to establish that they don't stock that colour any more , so I have to find another Crown supplier.
Thanks for all your help. Will let you know update (if you're interested).
PS. I have Apple white in the kitchen - love the freshness.

I am going to try an independent retailer tomorrow for a tester pot in Gallery White to see how it looks. I have also got tester pots for a company called Craig and Rose in Adam Cream and Pale Mortlake Cream.
B&Q seems to have lost its way; customer service is awful, and the nearest Homebase is about 40 miles away.
