How do i remove a bathroom carpet that has been glued to the floor as i want to put lino down

I have a bathroom carpet which is glued solidly to the floor. I want to remove it and put textured non slip lino down

At any rate, warm the mixture up in a throw away pan or bucker, using a spray bottle or garden sprayer, spray it on top of the offending carpet until it's quite wet. Let it set for an hour or so and then, using a pair of pliers (no, not two airplane pilots from Puerto Rico) pull up a corner and keep pulling. Once it's up, use more spray to remove remaining glue...
