could someone please tell me how I can down load photoes from picasa
onto facebook.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Pictures aren't 'in' any particular program on your computer. They're simply 'on' your PC (or, more accurately, on its hard drive) and accessed by any suitable program. So you don't need to use Picasa at all.

When you get to the bit where it says click 'Browse', you'll need to navigate to the location of your pictures (which may well be your 'My Pictures'folder) and double-click on the picture you want.
The foregoing assumes that the reference to 'Picasa' in your question refers to the program on your computer (which, as I've stated, you don't need to use). If you actually mean that the pictures are already online, in one of the 'Picasaweb' galleries, you'll need to right-click on a picture and select 'Save'. That will enable you to choose whereabouts on your hard rive you wish to save the picture to. When you've done that, you can then proceed as above.
