Donkey in Kinsale

Does anyone know anything about the man with the donkey and the dog who plays the flute in Kinsale Harbour ? He seems so happy with life, with grapes to feed his donkey and lots of biscuits for the little dog. He also has a fire in his little caravan thingy and plays Irish tunes on his flute. We took pics of him a few years ago when he had a chicken and a donkey ! Hope the picture comes out OK, Im not the person on the left by the way ..

Just checked the photo and the person on the left didn't come out on tinypic's page thank goodness. I wont describe what she looked like .. And I didn't mean the donkey.

If you look on the tinypic.com website it will explain everything. Its not a stable cupid ... its like a mini wooden caravan with a little fuel fire inside. He doesn't look like he would eat his pet chicken!

Well...perhaps I need to get out more, but I've scoured the whole of Kinsale harbour on Google Earth (street view) to see if I could see him or his little caravan and I can't see anywhere that looks remotely like the background to that photo...especially the black railings along the edge....are you sure it's Kinsale?

Sid I'm taking about Kinsale in Southern Ireland. Are you ? And if you are, how do you get Southern Ireland on Google Streetview cos I can't ! He sits by the car park opposite the pubs and next to the boat office where you go out to see funghi the dolphin. By the sculpture of the anchor.

There appears to be a lot of building work/improvements taking place on GE in the harbour area. Maybe your picture was taken after this was finished.....

Smurfchops...sure your thinking of Kinsale....the funghi dolphin trips are from Dingle in Kerry...not Kinsale in Cork.
