Just watched a programme about Charles and Di`s wedding as it was 30 years ago today. Scary.
browsing this site, listening to Vic Galloway prog on Radio Scotland
responding to random questions after too much wine and husband in bed :) Music in background, thinking about tomorrows haircut... bored too
Im just asking about ladies, Back in my day a woman was a lady. A lady did not step out of the house unless she had herself looking correct.
I watched that too 237. He looked as if he was really in love with her, and he looked so young. Who would guess that Camilla was already lurking in the background.
Hi carma. Browsing AB/having a Green Day medley (I mentioned one of their tracks in your thread "Favourite tracks") and giving this quite a runout.....

Listening to the new Paul Simon album - superb!
I thought Charles had a thing with Camilla long before Dianna. Was she not just a young girl who could make heirs? Traditionally royals have mistresses.
Yes, mic, but he looked as if he was in love with her and yet Camilla was already there. How could he be such a hypocrite. I have never had any use for royalty, but this makes me even more of an anti-royalist.

237SJ and starbuckone - I missed the programme but remember the euphoria at the time of the wedding.

Judge Nutmeg and MarkRae - will get baxck when I've listened to the .
armanimick - we may have something in common!
I don't believe Charles ever loved Diana
Was the wedding bigger news than Will and Kates?

Judge Nutmeg - listened to the youtube clip - this is way, way out of my normal music choice but I found it 'haunting' - sorry if that's a bad choice of words but I'm an oldie - (a very oldie) Certainly different for me, not exactly comfortable with it - memories of Pearl Harbour (I found the words difficult to hear (old age) but I have to say I'd listen to it again.
MarkR - love Paul Simon - again my age is showing, particularly his tracks way back in the dinosaur age whe he was with Art G.
