selling my art?

does anyone know how i can sell some of my paintings without paying loads for gallery space?? do i have to have an agent?

you could try approaching local cafes, bars, banks, clinics etc and offer them the paintings for display on their walls. You include a price tag and a small plaque with local artist info on and maybe leave business cards at reception, and if it sells you replace it with another of your works - it costs them nothing, so lots of them go for it and you get lots of exposure!
