HHi have ford focus 55plate when engine is under load rattles come from engine has anybody else had this problems

In olden days, this would have been due to the ignition timing too advanced (the fuel being ignited by the spark plug too soon in the engine cycle) – but with modern electronic engine management, such problems are rare.

Nevertheless, it might be the cause of your problem with the crank position sensor faulty or the whole ignition system on the blink. Take the car to a garage for a diagnostic check.
